This hotel suits me perfectly with great wi-fi, friendly 24-hour reception, and a lovely bar lounge area. I remember on my first stay, the staff helped me return my forgotten headphones. It's always a pleasure here, and I’m coming back for Christmas!

Great bed, not so great food!
The bed was super comfy, and the location was perfect for the event we attended. The in-room breakfast sounded good but the dinner experience was disappointing. We were served a frozen pizza that was way overpriced. It was too noisy during the night. I had trouble sleeping.

Recommend it for families on a budget
We enjoyed the spacious room with a nice view of the gardens and the kids liked the warm nibbles on the counter like warm brie with fig jam, what a nice touch! The staff were awesome, really friendly and helpful with all our questions, they went above and beyond for us.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but we found it acceptable for the quality we received.

Family with children will enjoy this place
The room was nice and clean and had all the basics for a family like ours. The breakfast was pretty good too, with a bit of everything to satisfy picky eaters.
It wasn't the cheapest place but still reasonable for what we got.

missingWrote a review on Sept 07beautiful gardenwell-finished roomsexpensive parking
The outdoor garden offers a serene spot for a bit of relaxation after a long day, perfect for unwinding among some greenery. Rooms boast a well-finished look, making them cozy for a night in, with ample space to stretch out.
Parking prices can take a hit on your wallet, charging £10 per night plus £3 per hour during peak times, which feels a bit steep given the availability of spots. there's a notable lack of microwaves across the hotel, making reheating meals a hassle—a real bummer when you’ve brought dinner from home. Lastly, while public transport can get you to the city center, it's not particularly convenient. some buses were full, and getting prompt service sometimes left me just wishing for better accessibility overall.

Affordable and cozy stay!
Had a lovely time for 2 nights here! The room was cozy and impeccably clean. The staff were super friendly right from check-in. Breakfast was decent, and the bus to the city center was really convenient. Only thing is, it can get a bit warm since there's no A/C. a solid experience!

missingWrote a review on Aug 07quiet locationsolid breakfastnice gardensoundproofing issues
The hotel sits in a quiet, leafy area, ideal for getting some peace in the city. There’s a nice garden out back for relaxing and the breakfast buffet offers a solid spread of options, which is a good way to start the day.
Guests have complained about the lack of air conditioning, which can make rooms uncomfortably warm, especially in summer. The soundproofing isn't up to par, allowing noise from corridors and above to seep in, making it hard to catch some quality shut-eye. Some rooms, like the executive ones, seemed to offer little difference from standard options with cramped bathrooms and some awkward layouts. Plus, parking fees and communications around them weren't made very clear, leading to some unexpected costs. Also, there were instances where the breakfast service didn’t accommodate all requests, like non-functioning toast machines.
